Matt Sienkiewicz is a Professor and Chair of the Communication Department at Boston College, where he also serves as Director of the Jewish Studies Program and Faculty Advisor to Hillel. Dr. Sienkiewicz has authored influential books such as That's Not Funny: How the Right Makes Comedy Work for Them (2022) and The Other Air Force: U.S. Efforts to Reshape Middle Eastern Media Since 9/11 (2016). His work appears in journals like Journal of Cinema and Media Studies, Media, Culture & Society, and Columbia Journalism Review. He is also an Emmy-nominated media producer, with credits including the documentary Live From Bethlehem and the TV series Windy Acres.
