Matt Ikari

Dr. Matt Ikari is a Junior Research Group Leader at MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences, University of Bremen. His research focuses on fault mechanics, earthquake generation, and subduction zone processes, supported by a European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant (PREDATORS project). His group investigates fault slip behavior using laboratory deformation experiments and natural samples from international expeditions.
