Matt Hall is a Professor and Associate Architecture Program Chair at Auburn University's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture. His teaching spans all levels, emphasizing beginning design, materials/methods, and fostering critical thinking about design's existential challenges. As a partner in the architecture firm Superunison and the object design studio Obstructures, he bridges academic rigor with collaborative design practice. His research intertwines historical analysis of post-war Scandinavian architects like Sigurd Lewerentz and Bernt Nyberg with speculative critiques of design's societal impacts.
