Matt Crockett is an Associate Professor at the UNT Dallas College of Law, where he has been a faculty member since 2016. His expertise lies in Contracts, Commercial Law, Real Estate, and Bankruptcy.
Professor Crockett received his Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from California Western School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration magna cum laude from the University of New Orleans. Prior to his academic career, he practiced corporate finance transactions at Gardere Wynne Sewell (now Foley Lardner).
His research focuses on commercial law and property, with editorial contributions to major legal publications including The Law of Sales Under the Uniform Commercial Code, The Law of Product Warranties, and the UCC Law Letter.
