Ms Matilde Breth-Petersen is an Associate Lecturer in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health at the Sydney School of Public Health, University of Sydney. A member of the Sydney Environment Institute, she focuses on research at the intersection of public health, First Nations wellbeing, and climate change impacts.

Recent publications analyze carbon footprint reduction in healthcare, climate change effects on Aboriginal communities, and solastalgia (climate-induced homesickness). Her work also evaluates diagnostic testing efficiency and mental health stigma in cross-cultural contexts.
