Mathilde Renaud is a University Lecturer-Hospital Practitioner at Nancy University Hospital, affiliated with both the Clinical Genetics Department and the INSERM NGERE team. She specializes in rare neurological pathologies, including Huntington's disease, cerebellar ataxias, and spastic paraplegias, providing clinical care for children and adults while conducting translational research.

In teaching, she co-develops simulation-based training for genetics interns at Lorraine Virtual Hospital's CUESIM center and educates medical science, midwifery, and nursing students in medical genetics.
