Mathias Trabandt is a Professor of Macroeconomics at Goethe University Frankfurt, where he holds the Chair of Macroeconomics at the House of Finance. He is also a Research Fellow at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) and the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). His work has been featured in prominent publications including The New York Times, Washington Post, and Science.
Professor Trabandt's research focuses on macroeconomics, monetary economics, public economics, labor economics, international macroeconomics, financial frictions, applied econometrics, and epidemics.
