Mathew Guggenbiller

Mathew Guggenbiller is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) and a staff Neonatologist at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP), Virginia, since 2020. He serves in the U.S. Navy as a Commander and has been pivotal in advancing neonatal care, communication, and immunology research.

He has contributed to collaborative research projects with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and developed critical communication training programs. His clinical roles include chairing the Palliative Care Committee and coordinating resident rotations.
