Mateusz Wróblewski

Professor Mateusz Wróblewski is the Head of the Furniture Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań. He is also an innovation broker, focusing on research and development projects and the commercialization of university scientific activities.

His research interests revolve around furniture design, architectural design, and the intersection of design research with innovation. He has been actively involved in commercial projects, including retail space design for brands like Wittchen, Esotiq, and CCC, and has led research and development initiatives under the European Union’s POiR 2014–2020 program.

Professor Wróblewski co-founded the Arne Design studio with Monika Okupniak and currently collaborates with Professor Katarzyna Laskowska and Karolina Cieślak, M.A., through the Institute for the Implementation of Ideas. His work emphasizes the practical application of design principles and the integration of academic research into industrial contexts.
