Mateusz Falkowski is a lecturer at the Institute of Culture of the Jagiellonian University and at the School of Form in Poznań. He is a graduate of the MISH UW program and earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Warsaw. Falkowski co-founded the cultural initiative Gravity Cinema and was active in Warsaw's Orgia Myśli/Orgy of Thoughts from 2005 to 2014. He currently serves as president of the Barbara Skarga Foundation for Thinking.

Falkowski's research and publications focus on the intersection of philosophy and technology, particularly historical perspectives from the 17th century.
