Massoudi Koorosh serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Lausanne, actively affiliated with the LIVES Centre (Interdisciplinary Centre for Research and Intervention on Life Course, Work, and Health Inequalities). Based at LabDCI in Lausanne, his academic role focuses on bridging research and practical interventions in career development and occupational health.
His research program centers on career counseling dynamics, workplace well-being, and vocational transitions, with particular emphasis on sustainable career trajectories, work precarity, and the psychological impacts of modern work arrangements. Using mixed-method approaches, he investigates how sociodemographic factors and psychological resources interact to shape career outcomes, especially among vulnerable populations like domestic workers and adolescents. His work consistently addresses Swiss labor market contexts while incorporating cross-cultural perspectives through international collaborations.
Recent publications reveal a strong trend toward empirical studies on telework impacts, work addiction, and career guidance effectiveness, often employing longitudinal designs and large-scale validations of assessment tools. Key thematic clusters include precarious employment conditions, boredom-burnout relationships, and interventions for marginalized youth, demonstrating his commitment to translating psychological research into actionable career support frameworks.
As a core member of the LIVES UNIL Office, Dr. Massoudi contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives examining life course inequalities and health disparities, positioning his work at the intersection of organizational psychology, social policy, and public health.
