Education
- Ph.D. in Financial Markets and Institutions, University of Siena (2000); Thesis: "I titoli delle Pmi e l’efficienza del mercato" (Securities of SMEs and Market Efficiency).
- Degree in Economics with full marks, University of Parma (1996); Thesis: "La quotazione nella teoria della finanza" (Quotation in Financial Theory).
His research centers on financial intermediaries, corporate finance, and risk management with specialized expertise in real estate finance, tax planning, microcredit systems, and art investment. Recent work examines brand revaluation fiscal strategies, fixed capital financing structures, and competitiveness defense mechanisms, consistently bridging theoretical finance with practical business applications. He investigates market efficiency implications across SME securities, real estate planning, and alternative asset classes while addressing financial policy implementation challenges in non-financial corporations.
2019-2023 publications reveal a strategic focus on niche financial applications: real estate business planning (2023), fixed capital financing (2022), and brand tax optimization (2022) dominate, with competitiveness defense (2020) and art investment (2019) showing interdisciplinary expansion. This trajectory demonstrates deepening application of financial theory to specific asset classes and market inefficiencies.

Administrative leadership includes serving as Rector's Delegate for Student Services (2016-2017) and departmental board roles.
Embedded within the Department of Economics and Management, he contributes to the CSIBE (Computer and Library Services Center for Economics Faculty) and EMIS Doctoral Program boards.
