Mason Dunnam serves as a Lecturer and Interscholastic Mock Trial Team Coach at Baylor University School of Law, where he has been on faculty since Fall 2021. In this role, he trains and mentors students for national mock trial competitions, most notably coaching Baylor Law's team to victory in the 2024 National Championship of the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition. Dunnam combines his academic role with legal practice at Dunnam & Dunnam, where he specializes in civil trial law, consumer law, and personal injury cases.
His research and teaching focus centers on trial advocacy techniques, legal education methodologies, and mock trial competition strategies. Through his coaching, Dunnam develops practical litigation skills in students and enhances their courtroom performance capabilities.
Outside academia, Dunnam maintains an active trial practice in Central Texas and teaches at the Academy of the Advocate at St Andrews. He holds a Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
