María Jesús Álvarez Torres

María Jesús Álvarez Torres is a Professor at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. She specializes in dynamical systems and ordinary differential equations, with a focus on the qualitative theory of planar differential equations, limit cycles, the 16th Hilbert problem, and Abel equations. She is a member of the UIB's Sistemes Dinàmics (SSDD) research group and the national DANCE (Dinámica, Atractores y Nolinealidad: Caos y Estabilidad) network.
