Maryann Feldman is the Watts Professor of Public Policy and Management at Arizona State University's School of Public Affairs, where she serves as research director at the Global Center for Technology Transfer. She chairs the Policy Forum of the Science, Technology and Economic Policy Board of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine.
Her research examines:
- Dynamic geographies of knowledge creation and diffusion
- Entrepreneurial ecosystem development
- University technology transfer processes
- Regional innovation policies
Her publications analyze innovation ecosystems, technology adoption patterns, and regional economic development strategies. Recent work focuses on finance's role in entrepreneurial ecosystems and equity implications of innovation policies.
She serves on multiple editorial boards and advisory committees including the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research program on Innovation, Equity and the Future of Prosperity.
