Maryalice Morro

Dr. Maryalice Morro serves as an adjunct professor in The Citadel's Swain Department of Nursing. She holds a DNP and BSN from Villanova University and an MSN from the Catholic University of America. Her professional background includes 29 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy, culminating in her role as Director of the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. Currently, she coordinates Villanova's Women’s Leadership Development Certificate Program and teaches in the University of Pennsylvania's DNP-Executive Leadership track.

Educational background: DNP & BSN (Villanova University), MSN (Catholic University of America).

Professional contributions focus on healthcare leadership, military healthcare systems, and interdisciplinary program development. She sits on multiple boards including Villanova's Nursing Board of Consultors and the Anne W. McNulty Advisory Board.
