Mary Towner

Mary Towner is an Associate Professor in Integrative Biology at Oklahoma State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Animal Behavior from UC Davis (1999), an M.Sc. in Animal Behavior (1993), and a B.A. in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution from UC San Diego (1991). She has secured grants such as 'Collaborative Research: The Anthropology of Demographic Transition and Livelihood Diversification' (2022–2025) and 'How Migration, Resources, and Ethnicity Shaped Female Fertility' (2016–2021). Dr. Towner teaches courses like Human Anatomy and Honors Thesis Preparation, guiding students in research and academic rigor.
