Mary Sirridge is a Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Louisiana State University (LSU). She holds a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University (1972) and has held roles including Director of Graduate Studies (2000-2003) and Department Chair (2007-2010). Her expertise spans ancient and medieval philosophy, philosophy of art, and philosophy in literature.

Research Interests: Sirridge focuses on logic, philosophy of language, and philosophical linguistics in ancient and medieval works. She has edited critical editions of medieval texts like Sermocinalis Scientia and Abstractiones of Richard the Sophist. Her work also explores Augustine’s philosophy of mind and the medieval reception of Aristotle’s On the Soul.
