Mary Olivia Roberts is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Management at the College of Business, Ohio University. She holds an MBA from Youngstown State University (2024), an MA in Organizational Communication from Ohio University (2020), and dual BAs in Broadcasting and International Leadership Studies from Marietta College (2014). Her professional background spans healthcare marketing, higher education marketing, television news, and teaching.
Mrs. Roberts has served as Marketing Director for Great Plains Health (2021–2023) and Video Producer at Marietta College. She is also an experienced journalist, with certifications in Media Law (University of South Carolina, 2016) and TEFL (2014). She currently teaches marketing and communication courses at Marietta College and is active in professional associations like the Ohio Communication Association.
She volunteers in wellness initiatives and community projects, including a $52.5M recreation improvement campaign in North Platte, Nebraska, and fundraising for Alpha Xi Delta. Outside academia, she enjoys jogging, cooking, and travel.
