Mary Liston is an Associate Professor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia. She specializes in public law, including administrative law, constitutional law, legal theory, and law and literature. Her research focuses on the rule of law, legal pluralism, Indigenous legal orders, and the role of apologies in public law. She has contributed to leading casebooks such as Public Law: Cases, Commentary and Analysis and has been cited by the Supreme Court of Canada.
