Mary Huynh is Adjunct Assistant Professor in Community Health and Social Sciences at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy. As Director of Vital Statistics at NYC Department of Health, she oversees birth and mortality data analysis, publishes annual reports, and conducts research on structural racism impacts.
Her research examines racial disparities in birth outcomes, gestational diabetes screening trends, and neighborhood determinants of maternal health. Using epidemiological methods, she investigates how social policies affect perinatal outcomes in urban populations. Education includes PhD in Epidemiology (University of Pittsburgh) and biology degrees.
