Dr. Hoberg's primary research revolutionizes diagnostic pathways for noncancerous female-specific conditions through enhanced health literacy and self-advocacy training, directly addressing systemic gaps in endometriosis and pelvic pain management. Her secondary scholarly emphasis pioneers constructivist learning frameworks in triadic nursing education, integrating technology to transform undergraduate curriculum delivery and clinical skill development.
As an active mentor in the Undergraduate Research Mentorship Program (URMP), she guides student research projects while maintaining professional leadership through Sigma Theta Tau membership, Association of Women’s Health Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses engagement, and editorial advisory service for the Journal of Obstetrics, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing.
