Mary F. Ruzicka, Ph.D., is a tenured full Professor in the Department of Educational Studies at Seton Hall University's College of Education and Human Services, with over 25 years of service. She holds licensure as a psychologist in New Jersey and certifications in Guidance Counseling and Social Studies teaching (K-12). Currently, she serves as Director of the Institutional Review Board and recently completed directing the four-year Bayley Project, a university-wide ethics/values audit.
Her research spans Psychology, Education, Gifted Education, Ethics, and Military History. Dr. Ruzicka is authoring two books: one on psychological development of gifted adolescents and another on nurses in MASH units during the Korean Conflict. She has taught across all psychology and education disciplines throughout her career.
Dr. Ruzicka has received numerous academic awards (unspecified) and has mentored doctoral students since 1980 at Seton Hall University, Drew University, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also performs extensive pro bono work for the Catholic Church locally and nationally.
