Dr. Mary Catherine Levri is an Associate Professor at the University of Notre Dame and Director of Music at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. She teaches organ performance, church music, and liturgical studies, blending theological and musical expertise in her work.

Her research focuses on the intersection of sacred music and Catholic theology, particularly the role of beauty in spiritual transformation. She explores chant-based organ compositions, liturgical traditions, and the theological implications of aesthetics in worship.
Dr. Levri's publications and lectures emphasize the incarnational power of beauty, with contributions to the Humanum Review, Adoremus Bulletin, and Communio International Catholic Review. Her work has earned recognition, including the Best DMA Thesis Award for her study on Anton Heiller's organ works.
