Mary Ann Scott

Mary Ann Scott, Ph.D., is a board-certified Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS Health). She serves as Section Chief of the Schmieding Developmental Center, where she specializes in evaluating children with neurodevelopmental, neurological, and genetic disorders. Her clinical practice focuses on infants, toddlers, and school-age children with complex medical histories, including epilepsy, stroke, metabolic disorders, and congenital heart defects.

She also contributed to the Guide to Neuropsychological Referral in the Antenatal and Neonatal Guidelines, Education and Learning System (ANGELS). Her clinical work integrates multidisciplinary collaboration, including partnerships with Arkansas Children’s Hospital to expand services.
