Martín L. Basch is an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, holding appointments in both the Department of Otolaryngology and the Department of Genetics and Genome Sciences. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, he earned his Licenciado en Ciencias Biológicas at the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD in Developmental Biology at the California Institute of Technology under Dr. Marianne Bronner. His postdoctoral training included work with Dr. Neil Segil at the House Ear Institute and Dr. Andrew Groves at Baylor College of Medicine before joining CWRU in 2015.
