William "Marty" Martin is a Professor and Director of the MS in Human Resources program at DePaul University's College of Business, Department of Management & Entrepreneurship. He co-leads the DePaul/Rush Center on Community Health Equity design core, focusing on reducing Chicago's West Side health disparities through business-healthcare collaborations.

Martin's research spans business ethics, workplace wellness, burnout, and health equity. With 60 peer-reviewed articles and 76 editor-reviewed publications, his work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and USA Today. His unique background as a licensed clinical health psychologist with a Master's in Public Health informs community-based service learning courses like "Streets of Chicago: Healthcare Management," where students engage executives from organizations such as Navigant Consulting and Hospira.
He serves as faculty advisor for the Society for Human Resource Management DePaul Chapter and is currently pursuing a Master's in Bioethics at Harvard Medical School to enhance his health equity scholarship.
