Martina Orci

Martina Orci is a PhD student and Research Fellow in Applied Economics at the Department of Information Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona, Italy). She graduated in Economy and Management from the same institution. Since 2019, she has collaborated with Fondazione Aristide Merloni, analyzing the entrepreneurial system of the Marche region. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation of firms, with a particular emphasis on regional development dynamics.

Research Interests: Entrepreneurship ecosystems, innovation policy, digitalization of SMEs, and the impact of EU strategies on regional economic integration. Her work integrates quantitative methods and policy analysis to address challenges in economic development.

Affiliations: Member of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (C2I) at the Polytechnic University of Marche, contributing to projects on sustainability and technology transfer. Collaborates with researchers such as Donato Iacobucci and Marco Ciro Liscio on topics like EU macro-regional strategies and innovation ecosystems.

Grants/Projects: Involved in research analyzing the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR) and its implications for regional policy. Participates in interdisciplinary studies on digitalization and sustainable business models.
