Martina Cavalli serves as an Academic Fellow in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University. She teaches core courses including Cultural Mediation, Contemporary Art Markets and Systems (Foundations and Global Economics), Competitive Strategies in Creative Industries, and The Global Industry of Imaginaries for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Her research focuses on the economic and social structures of cultural production, with primary expertise in Art Markets and Creative Industries. She examines global value chains in art systems, cultural mediation frameworks, and competitive dynamics within creative sectors, integrating perspectives from Political Economy and Global Economics to analyze transnational cultural flows.
