Martina Bazzaro is a Visiting Professor at Linköping University, affiliated with both the Department of Surgery, Orthopaedics and Oncology (KOO) and the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV). Her research focuses on ovarian cancer biology and proteomics, particularly investigating mitochondrial pathways in clear cell carcinoma and tumor-stroma interactions.
Current research interests include:
- Proteomic profiling of ovarian cancer cells with ARID1A deficiency
- Targetable mitochondrial pathways in cancer therapy
- Quantitative tumor stroma analysis using AI-based tools
- Predictive modeling for ovarian cancer outcomes
She collaborates across disciplines to connect cancer biology with computational approaches, exploring novel therapeutic strategies for ovarian cancer.
