Martin Trifonov

Martin Trifonov serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) in Sofia, Bulgaria, specifically within the Faculty of Architecture's Department of Drawing and Modeling. He maintains regular reception hours for students on Thursdays and Fridays and teaches multiple drawing courses for first-year Architecture and LALP students.

His educational background includes a Master's degree in Sculpture from the National Academy of Arts, Sofia (2015) and a Doctorate in Art History and Fine Arts from New Bulgarian University (2022). He is proficient in Bulgarian (native), English (independent user), and has basic Portuguese language skills.

Trifonov's research focuses on morphological approaches to depicting architectural objects, degeneration of form and space in visual arts, and morphological analysis of natural objects within the context of Bulgarian national identity and cultural heritage. His work bridges artistic practice with academic inquiry, examining how visual principles can express cultural identity.

His publications demonstrate consistent scholarly output in art theory and history, with particular emphasis on biomorphic forms and the work of Bulgarian sculptor Boyan Raynov.
