Martin Søberg is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Architecture and Culture, Royal Danish Academy - Architecture, Design, Conservation. A specialist in modern/contemporary architecture, his work explores the interplay between architectural works, ideas, and cultural contexts.

- Co-editor of 5+ major architectural publications
- Chair of Docomomo Denmark
- Vice-chair of Danish Association of Art Historians
Research Focus: spans architectural theory, artistic research, poetics, and the evolution of Danish modern architecture. His monograph Kay Fisker: Works and Ideas (2021) and co-edited works like The Artful Plan (2020) showcase his interdisciplinary approach.
Recent Publications (2025) examine precision in brickwork, welfare-era playgrounds, and responsible architecture. These works reflect his interests in materiality, social infrastructure, and design communication.
