Martin Pichler

Martin Pichler is a Full Professor for Translational Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, University Augsburg, Germany. He holds academic and leadership roles at the Medical University of Graz, including Associated Professor, Head of the Research Unit for Non-Coding RNA and Genome Editing in Cancer, and Research Managing Director of the Division of Oncology. His research focuses on altered expression of non-coding RNAs in human cancers (colorectal, breast, kidney), exploring mechanisms in metastasis, stem cell formation, and tumor metabolism, alongside clinical outcome research and biomarker development.
