Martin Outram serves as Lionel Tertis Professor of Viola at the Royal Academy of Music, where he has taught since 1984. As a member of the Maggini Quartet, he has recorded over fifty discs and received numerous international awards including the Gramophone Award and Royal Philharmonic Society Award for chamber music.
