Martin Mensinger

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Mensinger is a Professor of Metal Construction at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), leading the Chair of Metal Construction within the TUM School of Engineering and Design. He specializes in steel, light metal, and composite construction, with a focus on bridge engineering, fire protection, and innovative materials. His work includes developing sustainable construction methods like the Top-Floor-Integral system and pioneering uses of additive manufacturing in structural components.

Education & Career: After studying civil engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe, he earned his doctorate at the University of Kaiserslautern. He held leadership roles in engineering firms before joining TUM in 2006.
