Dr. Martin Mayerhofer is a Scientific Project Assistant at the University of Vienna, affiliated with both the Faculty of Mathematics and the Centre for Teacher Education. His work focuses on mathematics education research, with particular emphasis on the secondary-tertiary transition, student motivation in mathematics, and technology-enhanced learning environments.
His research interests include:

Dr. Mayerhofer completed his Master's thesis in 2020 and is currently working on his dissertation titled "From school to university: trends and gender differences in the motivation to learn mathematics," supervised by Univ.-Prof. Michael Eichmair and co-supervised by Assoz. Prof. Mag. Dr. Marko Lüftenegger. He also serves as a teacher at Seitenstetten Abbey Grammar School since 2017, teaching Digital Literacy, Informatics, and Mathematics.
