Martin Lloyd-Evans

Martin Lloyd-Evans is a Part-Time Lecturer at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama's School of Music, specifically within the Opera Studies department. With over 40 productions directed internationally, he specializes in bridging conservatoire training and professional practice, focusing on Opera and Theatre Directing with a strong emphasis on Drama Coaching and Stage Production.

His career includes long associations with Opera Holland Park and Mid Wales Opera, staging core repertoire and rare works like La Wally and l'Amore dei Tre Re. He also mentors young professionals through British Youth Opera and the Jette Parker Young Artists programme at the Royal Opera House.
