معرفی
Dr. Martin Lehmann is a Staff Scientist and Technical Manager of the Service-Unit for Mass Spectrometry (MSBioLMU) at LMU Munich's Faculty of Biology. His research focuses on plant metabolic responses to environmental stresses, employing metabolomic and proteomic approaches to study adaptation mechanisms in Arabidopsis and crop species.
Education includes a PhD in Molecular Plant Physiology from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology/University of Potsdam, and a Diploma in Biology from Freie Universität Berlin with specializations in ecology and microbiology.
Research examines metabolic regulation under oxidative stress, nutrient deficiencies, and extreme temperatures. Current projects investigate mitochondrial transport impacts on photosynthesis, enzyme functions in immune signaling, and stress recovery mechanisms in plant roots.
Publications analyze metabolic fluxes during stress responses, protein interactions in stress tolerance, and mitochondrial influences on plant growth. Recent work explores cold tolerance mechanisms through protein degradation pathways and enzyme modulation of immune responses.
Dr. Lehmann teaches bachelor and master courses in plant sciences and manages core mass spectrometry facilities supporting metabolic research. His technical expertise advances quantitative analysis of plant metabolic networks and stress adaptation.
