Professor Martin Holt is a leading social scientist at the Centre for Social Research in Health, University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney), specializing in HIV prevention research with gay and bisexual men. His work combines social science theory and critical public health research to understand community attitudes towards HIV prevention methods like PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and treatment as prevention. He leads Australia's GBQ+ Community Periodic Surveys, a key component of national behavioral HIV surveillance.
