Martin Fiebich

Prof. Dr. Martin Fiebich is a Professor at the Institute for Medical Physics and Radiation Protection within the Department of Life Science Engineering at the Technical University of Central Hesse (THM). He additionally serves as Head of the B.Sc. Biomedical Engineering program at THM and holds leadership roles in several professional bodies, including the Radiation Protection Commission and the German Society for Medical Physics.

His research expertise includes:

• X-ray diagnostic imaging systems
• Radiation protection protocols
• Optimization of medical image quality and radiation exposure
• Medical image processing algorithms
• Dose determination methodologies for patients and staff

Through his affiliation with the Doctoral Centre for Engineering Sciences, he supervises PhD candidates in interdisciplinary fields spanning Computer Science, Medical Technology, and Life Science Engineering.
