Martin Dechant

Dr. Martin Dechant is a Lecturer / Assistant Professor at University College London, focusing on digital games, immersive media, and their applications in mental health and social anxiety. He also explores eye-tracking technology for enhancing game enjoyment and mental health assessment.

Dechant has prior experience as a user experience designer for SensoMotoric Instruments GmbH (acquired by Apple) and Tobii, and as a lecturer at the University of Regensburg and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He joined the Interaction Lab at the University of Saskatchewan in 2017, collaborating with Prof. Dr. Regan Mandryk.
