Martin Brodehl is a Researcher at the Department of Older Philosophical History at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. He holds an MA in Philosophy and Catholic Theology and is currently pursuing a PhD under PD Dr. Dr. Stefan Seit, focusing on medieval metaphysics, particularly the works of Henry of Ghent and Godfrey of Fontaines. His academic roles include teaching and research activities in the history of philosophy.

Research Focus: His work centers on high medieval metaphysics, analyzing the conceptual frameworks of thinkers like Henry of Ghent, exploring topics such as the essence of God, the limits of human reason, and the philosophical implications of the 1277 Condemnation of Paris.
