Dr. Martin Booker is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Edinburgh. His current role focuses on teaching and academic guidance. While not actively engaged in current research projects, he maintains expertise in areas such as Political Sociology, Historical and Comparative Sociology, and Governance. He is available to supervise students in these fields.
Dr. Booker’s research interests include
- Analysis of social norms and their normalization processes
- Comparative studies of welfare state policies
- Structural and institutional aspects of governance and corruption
