Martin Bartelheim is a Professor for Prehistoric Archaeology at the Institute for Pre- and Protohistory and Medieval Archaeology of the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen since May 2008. His research focuses on the archaeology of Metal Ages in Europe and the Mediterranean, particularly examining socioeconomic aspects of prehistoric societies and metallurgical systems.
