Martin Andrews is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth's School of Architecture, Art and Design, within the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries. He holds a Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD) and has taught architectural education since 2004.

Research Interests focus on tutor training for architect-educators, architecture pedagogy, and integration of live projects in education. His work explores tensions between teaching, research, and practice, with emphasis on virtual learning environments and problem-based learning.
