Claire Williams is an Associate Lecturer (part-time) at the University of Plymouth’s School of Art, Design and Architecture, part of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business. She is also the Founder/Director of The Mount Studio Architects, a practice focused on humane architectural design. With over 20 years in private practice, her expertise spans architectural design, collaborative processes, and human-centric space creation.
Qualifications include RIBA Part III, a Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture (Distinction) with a focus on Humane Architecture, and a 1st Class Honors Bachelor of Architecture. She holds Fellow status in the Higher Education Authority (FHEA) and is registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
Teaching roles at Plymouth University since 2004 include leading design studios (Years 1–3), technology modules, and courses on Green Infrastructure, Craft & Culture, and Wellbeing.
