Martin Andersson is a Professor and Dean at the Department of Industrial Economics, Faculty of Engineering, Blekinge Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD in Economics from Jönköping International Business School (2007) and has held academic positions at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Lund University. His research focuses on industrial dynamics, entrepreneurship, urban economics, agglomeration economies, geography of growth and innovation, and digitalization, addressing questions about the roles of firms in innovation, urban productivity, and the interplay between digitalization and economic growth.
