Martin A. Asher is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Finance at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he has been affiliated since 1995. He has also held academic positions at the Department of Economics (1997-2000) and served as Associate Director of the Institute for Law and Economics at Penn Law. Additionally, he was a Professor of Economics and Business at Westmont College (2016-2023) and held visiting appointments at Swarthmore College and Bryn Mawr College.
