Martijn de Kok is a doctoral candidate in the Electromagnetics group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He also serves as a Guest Researcher at TNO Defence, Safety and Security since 2021, and a Lecturer for the Automotive Sensing course, teaching radar topics such as signal processing and phased arrays. His research focuses on integrated mm-wave antenna systems and phased arrays for satellite communications and radar sensing at Ka-band (26.5-40 GHz) and D-band (110-170 GHz).
Education: BSc and MSc (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from TU/e (2018 and 2020), with a visiting research stint at NASA JPL, CalTech in 2019. Key projects include INNOSTAR (2022-2025) and NextPerception EM (2020-2023), exploring advanced electromagnetic technologies and antenna systems.
Research outputs span topics like D-Band sensing, Ka-band tracking radar, and amplifier-integrated arrays, with publications in IEEE conferences and journals. His work emphasizes high-frequency systems, beamforming, and practical demonstrators for communication and radar applications.
