Martha Dale is a Lecturer in Health Policy at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) and a faculty member of the Yale-IMD Hospital Management and Leadership Program in Beijing and New Haven. She previously directed China programs at YSPH's Global Health Leadership Institute (GHLI), overseeing initiatives like the Yale-Tsinghua University Certificate Program in International Healthcare Management. Her work focuses on healthcare management in global contexts, including Ethiopia’s hospital reform, Liberia’s healthcare programs, and HIV/AIDS-focused non-profits. She currently serves on Grace Cottage Hospital’s board in Vermont.
Her research examines healthcare quality in rural China, health insurance design, and hospital management models in developing nations. Notable projects include collaboration with the Clinton Foundation on African healthcare systems and leadership development programs in emerging economies.
